Logson Group's Boxes and Packaging Doncaster wins Green Award at Doncaster Chamber Business Awards

Boxes and Packaging Doncaster, part of the Logson Group celebrated its success at The Doncaster Chamber Business Awards, securing the 'Green Award' at the event dinner at Doncaster Racecourse, demonstrating commitment to environmental best practice through processes put in place to re-cycle materials, minimise levels of waste and dispose of what little non-recyclable waste is created via licensed contractors.

Commenting on the win, Stacey Austin, Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to be recognised at the Doncaster Chamber Awards for the first time, winning the 'Green Award' and being finalists in the 'Customer Service' and 'Business of the Year' categories. This is an excellent achievement and demonstrates the continued hard work of our staff and continuous improvement of our business."

The event which celebrated the very best of Doncaster businesses, welcomed 700 guests on the night and saw a record number of entries, with an increase of 85% on the previous year.

Deputy Chief Executive, Daniel Fell, commented: "The standard of entries this year was immense and all of our finalists should be congratulated. Our judges saw evidence of real business excellence - whether that be large manufacturers exporting their goods all around the world or innovative new start up businesses."
